- ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- ¼ cup black or green olives, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- ½ tsp dried oregano (optional)
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Filling
- In a bowl, mix crumbled feta, shredded mozzarella (or provolone), and chopped olives.
- Add dried oregano and garlic powder if using. Stir to combine.
Assemble the Sandwich
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place two slices, butter-side down, on a clean surface.
- Evenly distribute the cheese and olive mixture over the slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
Grill the Sandwiches
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the pan and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
- Press down lightly with a spatula for even crisping.
