Instructions
- Preheat & Prep – Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- Mix Wet Ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk together brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vegetable oil until combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients – In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Incorporate – Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in chopped pecans.
- Bake – Pour batter into prepared baking dish, spreading evenly. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool & Serve – Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
