Instructions
- Sear the Beef (Optional): Heat a pan over medium-high heat, add butter, and sear the beef strips for 2-3 minutes per side for extra flavor.
- Add Ingredients to the Slow Cooker: Place beef, mushrooms, onion, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika into the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
- Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
- Thicken the Sauce: Whisk xanthan gum into the liquid (if using) and let it cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.
