Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the yogurt (or milk) and olive oil, then mix until a rough dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover with a clean cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (do not burn).
- Stir in the chopped parsley, then set aside.
Step 3: Cook the Flatbread
- Divide the dough into 4–6 equal portions and roll each into a thin oval or circle.
- Heat a dry skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
- Cook each flatbread for about 2 minutes on one side until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
- Remove from the pan and immediately brush with the garlic butter.
