Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the yogurt (or milk) and olive oil, then mix until a rough dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover with a clean cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter

  1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (do not burn).
  3. Stir in the chopped parsley, then set aside.

Step 3: Cook the Flatbread

  1. Divide the dough into 4–6 equal portions and roll each into a thin oval or circle.
  2. Heat a dry skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Cook each flatbread for about 2 minutes on one side until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
  4. Remove from the pan and immediately brush with the garlic butter.
