  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

“Make crispy, tender, and flavorful salmon in just 15 minutes with this easy air fryer salmon recipe. A healthy, quick, and delicious meal packed with protein and omega-3s!”

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or thyme (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Salmon

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
  • Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil.

Step 2: Season the Salmon

  • In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano (if using).
  • Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.

Step 3: Preheat the Air Fryer

  • Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for about 3 minutes.

Step 4: Cook the Salmon

  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
  • Air fry for 7-9 minutes, depending on thickness. The internal temperature should reach 125°F-130°F for medium or 145°F for well-done.
  • If desired, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, quinoa, or a fresh salad.

Notes

  • Honey Garlic: Add a teaspoon of honey and minced garlic for a sweet-savory glaze.
  • Spicy Cajun: Swap out the smoked paprika for Cajun seasoning for a bold, spicy flavor.
  • Lemon Herb: Use fresh dill, lemon zest, and garlic for a light, herby taste.
  • Teriyaki Glazed: Brush with teriyaki sauce before air frying for an Asian-inspired twist.
