Baked Stuffed Cheese Bombs

  • Total Time: 22 minutes
  • Yield: 8 cheese bombs (serves 2-4 people) 1x

Description

Baked Stuffed Cheese Bombs are bite-sized, gooey cheese-filled treats wrapped in soft biscuit dough and baked until golden. These savory snacks are perfect for parties, game days, or cozy gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of refrigerated biscuit dough (about 8 biscuits)
  • 8 oz of mozzarella cheese (cut into small cubes)
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Prepare the Dough: Open the package of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each into a small disc using your fingers or a rolling pin. Ensure each piece of dough is large enough to wrap around a cheese cube.

  • Stuff the Biscuits: Place a mozzarella cube in the center of each biscuit. Pinch the dough around the cheese to seal it into a ball.

  • Season the Dough: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Brush the mixture over each cheese bomb.

  • Bake: Arrange the cheese bombs on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

  • Garnish and Serve: Remove the cheese bombs from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Cheese Variety: Swap mozzarella with cheddar, gouda, or pepper jack for different flavors.
  • Add-ins: Add cooked bacon, pepperoni, or spinach along with the cheese for more depth.
  • Herb Changes: Try rosemary, basil, or thyme instead of Italian seasoning for a unique twist.

  • Dipping Sauces: Pair with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or a spicy dipping sauce for extra flavor.
