Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Beef Chops

  1. Remove beef chops from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  2. Pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Mix salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme (or rosemary), onion powder, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
  4. Rub seasoning evenly on both sides of the beef chops.

Step 2: Cook the Beef Chops

Pan-Searing Method:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sear beef chops for 4–5 minutes per side until a golden-brown crust forms.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low, add butter and garlic, and spoon the melted butter over the chops.
  4. Pour in beef broth and let simmer for 3–4 minutes until desired doneness.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.

Grilling Method:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil grates.
  2. Grill beef chops for 4–5 minutes per side, flipping once.
  3. Check internal temperature (see guide below).
  4. Remove from grill and let rest.

Oven Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sear chops in a hot skillet for 2 minutes per side.
  3. Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 8–10 minutes until desired doneness.
  4. Remove and let rest.

Step 3: Serve and Enjoy
