Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Beef Chops
- Remove beef chops from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- Pat dry with a paper towel.
- Mix salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme (or rosemary), onion powder, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
- Rub seasoning evenly on both sides of the beef chops.
Step 2: Cook the Beef Chops
Pan-Searing Method:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear beef chops for 4–5 minutes per side until a golden-brown crust forms.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, add butter and garlic, and spoon the melted butter over the chops.
- Pour in beef broth and let simmer for 3–4 minutes until desired doneness.
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
Grilling Method:
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil grates.
- Grill beef chops for 4–5 minutes per side, flipping once.

- Remove from grill and let rest.
Oven Method:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sear chops in a hot skillet for 2 minutes per side.
- Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 8–10 minutes until desired doneness.
