Instructions

  • Cook the Turnips

    • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
    • Add the diced turnips and cook for 10–15 minutes, until fork-tender.
    • Drain and let them cool slightly.
  • Blend the Ingredients

    • In a food processor or blender, combine cooked turnips, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), cream cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
    • Blend until smooth. Adjust consistency with olive oil or water if needed.
  • Adjust Seasoning

    • Taste and modify seasoning as desired.
    • Add more lemon juice for tanginess or a pinch of cayenne for heat.
  • Serve and Garnish

    • Transfer to a serving bowl.
