Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare – Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly.
- Mix Dry Ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Cut in Butter – Use a pastry cutter or fingers to work cold butter into the dry ingredients until crumbly.
- Add Wet Ingredients – Pour in buttermilk and vanilla, stirring gently until just combined (do not overmix).
- Fold in Blueberries – Carefully mix in blueberries to prevent crushing. If using frozen, keep them frozen.
- Shape and Bake – Turn dough onto a floured surface, pat to ¾-inch thick, and cut into rounds or squares. Arrange on the baking sheet. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the Glaze – While biscuits bake, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Glaze and Serve – Let biscuits cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze. Serve warm and enjoy!
