Ingredients

- 10 ounces soft caramel candies, unwrapped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
For the Topping:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Additional sea salt for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Base
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and egg until a soft dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and set aside.
