  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup chicken broth (or pasta water)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta

    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
    • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
    • Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  • Prepare the Steak Bites

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Season steak cubes with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using).
    • Add steak cubes in a single layer, cooking for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
    • Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic, and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Remove steak bites from the pan and set aside, leaving the garlic butter in the skillet.
  • Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce

    • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth (or reserved pasta water), stirring to combine.
    • Add Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
    • Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then toss in the cooked pasta. Stir until well coated.

  • Assemble and Serve

    • Transfer the creamy Parmesan pasta to serving plates or a large platter.
    • Top with garlic butter steak bites and drizzle any remaining butter sauce over the dish.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
    • Serve immediately and enjoy!
