  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 cocktail 1x

Description

A refreshing twist on the classic mojito, this Fresh Strawberry Mojito combines muddled strawberries, fresh mint, lime juice, white rum, and club soda for a vibrant summer cocktail. Easy to make and perfect for warm days!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 810 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 teaspoons sugar (or simple syrup)
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • Ice cubes
  • Club soda (to top)
  • Extra mint leaves and lime slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Muddle the Ingredients
In a sturdy glass, add sliced strawberries, mint leaves, lime wedges, and sugar. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press the ingredients together, releasing the flavors and juices.
  2. Add the Rum and Ice
Pour white rum over the muddled mixture, then fill the glass with ice cubes.
  3. Top with Club Soda
Gently stir the mixture, then top off with club soda to your preferred level.
  4. Garnish and Serve
Garnish with extra mint leaves and a lime slice. Give the drink a final stir and enjoy!

Notes

  • Non-Alcoholic Version: Skip the rum and add more club soda or lemon-lime soda.
  • Sweeter Mojito: Substitute sugar with honey or agave syrup.
  • Stronger Flavor: Add a splash of strawberry purée.
  • Different Fruit Options: Swap strawberries for raspberries, blackberries, or mango.
