Ingredients
- 1 (32-ounce) bag frozen diced hash brown potatoes
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup melted butter
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup chopped green onions (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with nonstick spray or butter to prevent sticking.
Step 2: Mix the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine frozen hash brown potatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Transfer to the Slow Cooker
Pour the mixture into the prepared slow cooker, spreading it evenly.
Step 4: Cook
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is fully melted.
