- 24 ladyfinger biscuits (savoiardi)

- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Mascarpone Mixture
- Whip the heavy cream in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
Step 2: Prepare the Coffee Mixture
- In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee, cocoa powder, and coffee liqueur (if using). Stir until dissolved.
Step 3: Assemble the Tiramisu
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are moist but not soggy.
- Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers.
- Sprinkle half of the grated chocolate over the mascarpone layer.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and grated chocolate.
Step 4: Chill and Serve
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, dust the top with unsweetened cocoa powder.
