Instructions

  1. Sear the Beef
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sear beef on all sides (3-4 minutes per side) and transfer to slow cooker.
  2. Prepare the Sauce
    • Sauté onion in the same skillet until softened (3 minutes).
    • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
    • Transfer to the slow cooker.
  3. Slow Cook the Beef
    • Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

  4. Cook the Pasta
