Description

“Recreate Carrabba’s famous Chicken Bryan at home with this easy copycat recipe! Juicy grilled chicken topped with creamy goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and a rich lemon-basil butter sauce. Perfect for special occasions or weeknight dinners!”

Ingredients

Scale

For the chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

For the lemon-basil butter sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (additional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the toppings:

  • 4 ounces goat cheese, sliced
  • 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375-400°F).
    • Brush both sides of the chicken breasts with olive oil and season evenly with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
    • Grill the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
    • Remove from the grill and let it rest while preparing the sauce.
  2. Make the Lemon-Basil Butter Sauce
    • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter.
    • Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Let it reduce by half (about 3-4 minutes).
    • Reduce the heat to low and stir in the remaining 1/4 cup butter until melted and smooth.
    • Add the chopped basil and salt, stirring until well combined. Remove from heat.
  3. Assemble the Dish
    • Place a slice of goat cheese on top of each grilled chicken breast.
    • Sprinkle with chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
    • Drizzle the warm lemon-basil butter sauce over the top.
    • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Dairy-Free Option: Use a dairy-free butter alternative and substitute goat cheese with a vegan creamy cheese option.
  • Wine Substitute: Replace the wine with chicken broth for a milder flavor.
  • Oven Option: Bake the seasoned chicken breasts at 400°F for 20-25 minutes instead of grilling.
