Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 cups egg noodles (or pasta of your choice)
- 2 tablespoons butter (for noodles)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. -
Cook the Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C). Remove from skillet and set aside to rest. -
Cook the Noodles:
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions (usually 8-10 minutes). Drain noodles and return to the pot. -
Butter the Noodles:
Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the cooked noodles and toss until evenly coated. Optionally, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese for extra flavor. -
Serve:
Slice the cooked chicken breasts into strips or bite-sized pieces. Serve the chicken on top of the buttered noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
