- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 8 oz noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
For the Sticky Sauce:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional, for heat)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (for thickening)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Beef
- Toss the sliced beef with cornstarch in a bowl. Set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Noodles
- Boil water and cook the noodles per package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
Step 3: Make the Sticky Sauce
- Whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, honey (or brown sugar), sriracha, sesame oil, water, and cornstarch. Set aside.
Step 4: Stir Fry the Beef and Vegetables
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Sear the beef for 1-2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Add the remaining oil and stir fry the bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli for 3-4 minutes.
- Add garlic, ginger, and green onions, and stir fry for 30 seconds.
Step 5: Combine Everything
- Return beef to the pan.
- Pour in the sauce and mix well.
- Add cooked noodles and toss to coat evenly. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step 6: Serve
- Transfer to serving plates, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
