- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain, full-fat or low-fat)
- 1/2 cup cucumber, finely diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients
- Dice the cucumber and red onion.
- Chop the fresh dill and mince the garlic.
- Make the Tzatziki Dressing
- In a large mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil (if using), and cumin (if using).
- Stir well until smooth and creamy.
- Mix the Chicken Salad
- Add the chicken, cucumber, red onion, and dill to the bowl.
- Toss until well coated in the tzatziki dressing.
- Taste and Adjust
- Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Fold in feta cheese if using.
- Chill & Serve
- Refrigerate for at least 15–20 minutes before serving.
- Serve chilled in sandwiches, wraps, lettuce cups, or with pita bread.
