- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare – Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients – In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Prepare Wet Ingredients – In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
- Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients – Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk. Stir until just combined.
- Add Chocolate Chips – Fold in chocolate chips gently.
- Bake – Pour batter into the loaf pan and spread evenly. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool & Serve – Let the brownie bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
