Beef:

- 2 tbsp cornstarch

Sauce:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (to thicken)
Instructions
- Prepare the Noodles
- Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking. Set aside.
- Marinate the Beef
- In a bowl, toss the sliced beef with cornstarch. Let sit for 5 minutes to help create a crispy texture when cooked.
- Make the Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, red pepper flakes, sesame oil, water, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Cook the Beef
- Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
- Add the beef in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Vegetables
- Add the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to the pan.
- Sauté garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and carrot for 2 minutes until slightly tender.
- Combine Everything
- Return the beef to the pan and pour in the sauce.
- Stir well and simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked noodles and toss until evenly coated.
- Serve
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!
