- 2 tbsp soy sauce (divided)
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cup snap peas or broccoli florets
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Red pepper flakes or sriracha (optional, for heat)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Beef
- In a bowl, mix the thinly sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes to tenderize.
Step 2: Cook the Noodles
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 tablespoon soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Set aside.
Step 4: Stir-Fry the Ingredients
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Add another tablespoon of oil, then stir-fry the garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Toss in the bell pepper, carrot, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
Step 5: Combine Everything
- Return the beef to the pan along with the cooked noodles.
- Pour the sauce over everything and toss well to coat.
- Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
Step 6: Garnish and Serve
- Sprinkle with green onions, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
