  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4-6 servings 1x

Description

This One-Pot Cheeseburger Pasta is a quick and easy dinner that combines the flavors of a juicy cheeseburger with creamy, cheesy pasta. Made in one skillet with simple ingredients, it’s a comforting, family-friendly meal perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk (optional for extra creaminess)
  • Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef & Aromatics: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease if needed. Add diced onion and garlic; cook for another 2-3 minutes until softened.
  2. Add Liquids & Seasonings: Stir in beef broth, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika. Bring to a light simmer.
  3. Cook the Pasta: Add uncooked elbow macaroni, stirring to combine. Cover and let simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  4. Add Cheese & Serve: Remove from heat, stir in shredded cheddar cheese and milk (if using) until fully melted and creamy.
  5. Garnish & Enjoy: Sprinkle with chopped parsley or green onions. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Protein Swap: Use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Extra Creamy: Add cream cheese for a richer texture.
  • Spicy Kick: Mix in red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños.
  • Vegetable Boost: Stir in spinach, bell peppers, or mushrooms.
  • Pasta Choices: Swap elbow macaroni with rotini, penne, or shells.
