- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (or fresh thyme for extra flavor)
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Turnips
- Peel and cube the turnips evenly for consistent cooking.
- Mince the garlic and set aside.
Step 2: Sauté in the Instant Pot
- Set the Instant Pot to Sauté mode.
- Melt butter (or heat oil) and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the turnips and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 3: Pressure Cook
- Turn off Sauté mode and add the broth.
- Season with salt, black pepper, thyme, and smoked paprika (if using).
- Close the lid, set the valve to Sealing, and cook on High Pressure for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Quick Release & Finish
- Perform a Quick Release by turning the valve to Venting.
- Open the lid, stir gently, and drain excess liquid if needed.
- Optionally, mash slightly for a creamier texture.
Step 5: Garnish & Serve
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm as a side dish.
