- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
For the Au Jus:
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1 ½ cups beef broth
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Sliders
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them completely. Place the bottom half in the prepared dish.
Step 2: Assemble the Sliders
- Layer half of the cheese over the rolls.
- Evenly distribute the roast beef on top of the cheese.
- Add the remaining cheese slices over the roast beef.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on.
Step 3: Make the Butter Topping
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme.
- Brush the mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
Step 4: Bake
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
Step 5: Prepare the Au Jus
- While the sliders are baking, whisk together the gravy mix, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened (about 3-4 minutes).
Step 6: Serve
- Remove sliders from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with warm au jus for dipping.
