Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
  • Prepare Rice Mixture: In a large bowl, combine uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and thyme. Mix well.
  • Assemble the Casserole: Pour the rice mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Add Chicken: Place chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture, pressing them slightly into the sauce but not fully submerging them.
  • Top with Cheese: Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheese over the dish.
