- 1 lb ribeye steak or ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Sauté the Steak and Vegetables
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- If using ribeye steak, slice it thinly. If using ground beef, break it apart while cooking.
- Add the steak or ground beef to the pan and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onions and bell peppers. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
- Return the cooked steak or beef to the skillet.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, heavy cream, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Stir well.
- Let the mixture simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 4: Combine with Pasta and Cheese
- Reduce heat to low and stir in the shredded provolone (or mozzarella) and cheddar cheese.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
- Cook for another 2 minutes until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Serve hot, garnished with extra cheese if desired.
