Instructions
. Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the Steak
- Pat the flank steak dry and slice thinly against the grain.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
3. Sauté the Vegetables
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil.
- Sauté onions and bell peppers for 3-4 minutes until softened.

4. Create the Sauce
- Pour in beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
- If using cornstarch, mix it with 2 tbsp water and stir into the sauce to thicken.

- Return the steak to the skillet.
- Add cooked pasta and toss to coat.

- If needed, add reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
