  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Additional Layers:

  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Meat Sauce

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce and beef broth, then let simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add crumbled bacon, stir well, and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in flour and cook for another minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Slowly whisk in milk and heavy cream, ensuring a smooth mixture.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Let simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Assemble the Lasagna

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce.
  3. Place three lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  4. Spread a layer of garlic Parmesan sauce over the noodles, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers two more times, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
