Instructions
Cook the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Add chicken to the pan and sear for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from the pan and set aside (it will finish cooking later).
2. Cook the Noodles
- In the same pan, add chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
- Add egg noodles and stir to ensure they are submerged.
- Reduce heat to medium, cover, and cook for about 8–10 minutes until the noodles are tender.
3. Finish the Dish
- Return the chicken to the pan, nestling it into the noodles.
- Cover and let simmer for another 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Stir in butter, Parmesan cheese, and heavy cream (if using) until well combined.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
