- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
For the Pasta:
- 8 ounces fettuccine, penne, or preferred pasta
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken
- Slice each chicken breast in half horizontally.
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Make the Sauce
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Lower heat and add heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, dried basil, and red pepper flakes. Stir and let thicken for 3-5 minutes.

Combine Everything
- Slice cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, letting it simmer in the sauce for 2-3 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta and toss to coat. Adjust consistency with pasta water if needed.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and extra Parmesan.
