Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 slices pepperoni
- 6 slices salami
- 6 slices ham or prosciutto
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll Out the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out pizza dough into a 10×14-inch rectangle. Let it rest if too elastic.
- Add the Fillings: Spread pizza sauce over dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Layer mozzarella, Parmesan, pepperoni, salami, ham, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Roll and Seal: Roll dough lengthwise into a log, tucking edges in. Pinch seams to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush and Bake: Brush top with egg wash. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle extra Italian seasoning. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool and Slice: Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into 1-inch pieces. Serve warm with extra marinara sauce.
Notes
- Vegetarian: Replace meats with mushrooms, bell peppers, and spinach.
- Meat Lovers: Add cooked crumbled sausage or extra pepperoni.
- Cheese Lovers: Mix in provolone, cheddar, or ricotta.
- Spicy: Use spicy capicola or jalapeños.
