  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Protein: Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add ground pork (or preferred protein) and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain excess grease if necessary.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: Add diced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the pan. Sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the Vegetables: Stir in shredded cabbage and carrots. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables soften but retain some crunch.
  4. Season the Dish: Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes to meld flavors.
