Hot Honey Roasted Cauliflower combines crispy, caramelized cauliflower with a sweet and spicy glaze. This easy, bold-flavored dish makes a perfect side, appetizer, or plant-based main course.
Ingredients
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tbsp hot sauce (sriracha or preferred choice)
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp butter (optional, for a richer glaze)
- Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving, optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat and Prep
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
Step 2: Season the Cauliflower
Toss cauliflower with olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
Step 3: Roast the Cauliflower
Spread on baking sheet. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Step 4: Make the Hot Honey Glaze
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Stir in butter if using. Warm for 2–3 minutes.
Step 5: Coat and Serve
Drizzle hot honey glaze over roasted cauliflower and toss to coat. Garnish with parsley or green onions. Serve with lemon wedges if desired.
