For the Dish:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 sausage links (smoked or chicken sausage), sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Optional Garnishes:
- Sesame seeds
- Chopped green onions
Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce
Whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Set aside. - Cook the Sausage
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the sausage for 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside. - Cook the Broccoli
Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to the skillet and sauté broccoli for 5-6 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside. - Sauté the Shrimp
Cook shrimp in the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. - Combine and Glaze
Return sausage and broccoli to the skillet. Pour in the honey garlic sauce, tossing to coat. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. - Serve
Transfer to a dish, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve warm.
