- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Chicken
- Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create four thinner pieces.
- Season with salt and black pepper. If using flour, lightly dredge each piece.

Cook the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/75°C). Remove and set aside.

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Combine and Serve
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve.
