- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- 1/2 cup beef broth (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients – Wash and dice potatoes into small cubes. Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
- Cook the Ground Beef – In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- Sauté the Onions and Potatoes – Heat oil or butter in the same skillet. Sauté onions for 2–3 minutes. Add potatoes, salt, black pepper, paprika, oregano, and chili powder. Cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Combine and Simmer – Return beef to the skillet and stir in minced garlic. If using, add beef broth. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Add Cheese and Serve – Sprinkle cheese on top (if using), cover for 2 minutes until melted. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
