- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 package (16 ounces) gnocchi
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach or kale (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside. - Sauté Garlic
In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Avoid burning. - Create the Sauce
Add Italian seasoning, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Simmer gently. - Cook the Gnocchi
Stir in the gnocchi. Cover and cook for 4–5 minutes, until tender and infused with the sauce. - Combine Everything
Return chicken to the skillet. Stir in parmesan cheese and, if desired, spinach or kale. Let greens wilt. Add red pepper flakes for heat. - Garnish and Serve
Adjust seasoning to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
