Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Mashed Potatoes
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potato chunks and cook for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender.
- Drain and return to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream (or milk), salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Mash until smooth.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese for extra flavor, if desired. Cover and keep warm.
Step 2: Season and Sear the Pork Chops
- Pat pork chops dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
