Ingredients
-
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-
1/2 teaspoon paprika
-
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
-
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (or Italian seasoning)
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
-
5 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
-
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for added brightness)
Instructions
-
Season the Chicken: In a large bowl, toss the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and dried thyme until evenly coated.
-
Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken in a single layer and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
-
Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
-
Combine and Finish: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, tossing it in the garlic butter sauce. Stir in parsley and lemon juice if using. Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
-
Serve: Enjoy warm with rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.
