Prepare the Ingredients
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels, then crumble.
- In the same pan, sauté the chopped onion until soft and translucent.

Mix the Casserole Base
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar, Swiss cheese, cottage cheese, hash browns, cooked bacon, and sautéed onion.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
