Bread Dough:

- ⅓ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar (for activating the yeast)
Egg Wash (Optional):
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
1. Activate the Yeast
- In a small bowl, mix the warm milk with sugar and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
2. Prepare the Dough
- In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the yeast mixture into the wet ingredients, then gradually incorporate the flour.
- Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add flour if needed.
3. First Rise
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
4. Shape the Bread
- Punch down the dough, then shape it into a loaf or rolls.
- Place it in a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan or a lined baking sheet.
5. Second Rise
- Cover and let the dough rise again for 30-45 minutes, or until puffy.
6. Bake
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brush with egg wash for a golden crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
7. Cool and Serve
- Let cool for 15 minutes before slicing. Enjoy plain, with butter, or toasted.
