- 1 pound deli-sliced roast beef
- 6 slices provolone cheese (or Swiss cheese)

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can beef consommé or beef broth
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional, for extra umami)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Sliders:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them. Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
- Assemble the Sliders:
- Layer roast beef evenly over the rolls.
- Add provolone cheese slices on top of the beef.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on.
- Make the Buttery Topping:
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and black pepper.
- Brush the mixture evenly over the tops of the sliders.
- Bake the Sliders:
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes until the tops are golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Prepare the Au Jus:
- While sliders are baking, heat beef consommé (or broth) in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in soy sauce (if using) and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Remove sliders from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve warm with au jus for dipping.
