Description

“Make this Easy Creamy Garlic Shrimp in just 15 minutes! A rich, garlicky, and indulgent shrimp dish with a luscious cream sauce—perfect over pasta, rice, or crusty bread. Quick, flavorful, and restaurant-quality!”

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (or white wine)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

1. Sauté the Shrimp

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add shrimp, season with paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.

2. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth (or white wine) and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes to reduce slightly.
  • Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.

3. Combine and Finish

  • Return shrimp to the pan, coating them in the creamy garlic sauce.
  • Let cook for 1-2 more minutes until heated through.
  • Add red pepper flakes, parsley, and a splash of lemon juice for extra freshness.
  • Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or crusty bread.

Notes

  • Lighter Version: Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Extra Cheesy: Add more Parmesan or shredded mozzarella.
  • Keto-Friendly: Serve with zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice.
  • Spicy Twist: Increase red pepper flakes or add cayenne.
  • Herb-Infused: Add fresh basil or thyme.
