Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Batter
    • In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Stir in melted butter.
    • Mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
    • Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture and stir to combine.
    • Gently fold in flour until just combined.
    • Fold in chocolate chips, reserving some for the top.
  3. Bake the Banana Bread
    • Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
