- 1 tablespoon soy sauce

For the Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Stir-Fry:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- ½ onion, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Beef
- Slice the beef thinly against the grain.
- Toss with cornstarch, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Marinate for 10–15 minutes.

Make the Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix all sauce ingredients until well combined. Set aside.

Cook the Beef
- Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Sear the beef for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon oil to the pan.
- Stir-fry bell peppers, onion, garlic, and ginger for about 3 minutes.
- Add red pepper flakes if using.

Combine and Finish
- Return the beef to the pan and pour in the sauce.
- Stir and cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with green onions.
