Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pickled jalapeños (or a mix of hot peppers of your choice)
  • ½ cup dill pickle brine
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard seeds
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare the Ingredients

    • Roughly chop the pickled jalapeños.
    • Mince the garlic and chop the fresh dill.
  • Blend the Sauce

    • In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients: pickled jalapeños, dill pickle brine, white vinegar, garlic, fresh dill, mustard seeds, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
    • Blend until smooth, or pulse for a chunkier consistency.
  • Cook the Sauce

    • Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.

    • Pour into a sterilized glass jar or bottle and refrigerate for up to two weeks.

Notes

  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Shake before use.
