Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Brownies
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in Irish cream liqueur and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before frosting.
Step 2: Make the Irish Cream Frosting
- Beat softened butter until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well.
- Add Irish cream liqueur and vanilla extract, beating until fluffy.
- Spread frosting evenly over cooled brownies.
Step 3: Add the Chocolate Drizzle
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips, Irish cream liqueur, and heavy cream in 20-second increments, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over frosted brownies.
- Let set for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
