  • 6 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or plant-based)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted (for brushing)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Filling

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Break it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Pour the egg mixture into the same skillet and cook over low heat, stirring gently, until soft scrambled eggs form. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in the cooked sausage and shredded cheese, combining everything evenly.

Step 2: Assemble the Rolls

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the crescent roll or pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. If using crescent rolls, pinch the seams together to form a single sheet.
  3. Cut the dough into rectangles or triangles, depending on the desired roll shape.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the sausage, egg, and cheese mixture onto each dough section.
  5. Carefully roll or fold the dough over the filling, sealing the edges. Place them seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Step 3: Bake to Perfection

  1. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter for a golden, flaky crust.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
