  • ½ teaspoon salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing

Instructions

  • Prepare the Meat

    • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned.
    • Drain excess grease and stir in diced tomatoes, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Assemble the Layers in the Crockpot
